ABOUT THE IMAGE: "Bugs Gambler" Bugs Bunny Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée #46/50, Signed by Dick Duerrstein (Warner Brothers, 2007).

Bugs Bunny tries his hand at gambling in this stunning limited-edition Giclée print by acclaimed artist Dick Duerrstein. Previously the head of Disney's Consumer Products Division for over two decades, Duerrstein is now one of the most collected artists in Disney Fine Art. This artwork of Bugs was inspired by the 1949 Chuck Jones-directed short film Mississippi Hare, where Bugs outsmarts the riverboat gambler Colonel Shuffle.

This print, numbered 46 out of only 50 ever created, has been sold out for over 15 years! It features a bored-looking Bugs Bunny with a carrot cigar and a handful of playing cards. The piece is signed by Duerrstein on the front and signed and dedicated on the back. It measures approximately 15.5'' x 11.5'' in a 20'' x 16'' frame.

Please note that all frames are sold as-is, and photos do not represent the actual frame condition. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Minor handling wear, overall in fine condition.

ABOUT THE MEDIUM:  The term “Giclée” was coined by print-maker Jack Duganne in 1991 to describe digitally reproduced fine art prints. It comes from the French verb “gicler,” meaning to squirt or spray a liquid. Duganne adopted this term for the prints produced by his studio using large format printers like the Giclée Epson GS6000 Inkjet printer. Today, giclée refers to high-resolution inkjet prints created from digitally generated files, revolutionizing art reproduction.

These prints use archival pigment inks meticulously sprayed onto archival fine art paper or canvas, capturing the intricate details and vibrant colors of the original artwork. Giclée printing allows artists to share their creations with a wider audience while preserving the integrity of their work, making it accessible to art enthusiasts, collectors, and galleries worldwide.

The high quality of Giclée printing is due to the use of large format printers with fade-resistant archival inks, both pigment and solvent-based, along with archival substrates.
